Freddie Harmon, Vice President of Human Resources, joined Viejas Casino & Resort in January of 2017 and has led the Human Resources efforts with the recent addition of Willows Hotel & Spa, multiple food and beverage venues, and expansion of the casino space.
Freddie has spearheaded the efforts that have shifted the Viejas Culture to focus heavily on guests and teams by emphasizing guest service, recognition, communication, and accountability. He also designed and opened the Viejas Center of Career Development, which focused on hiring, continuous career development, and personal growth of Team Viejas.
A hospitality executive with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality and gaming industry, Freddie began his career as a busboy and gradually rose through various departments.
He has held executive leadership roles in hospitality operations, human resources, marketing, and entertainment. During his career in the gaming industry, he spearheaded human resources efforts during the launches of several high-profile Las Vegas gaming properties and two international gaming resorts.
As the founder of Harmon Resources Consulting, he played a pivotal role in over 20 openings and expansions worldwide in the gaming/hospitality industry, serving clients such as Las Vegas Sands, MGM Resorts International, PARX Casino, and M Resort.
