When Jason Guyot became President and CEO of Foxwoods Resort Casino in 2020, he was the first member of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe to lead the organization. Since then, he has overseen the transition of the property from what was once the largest casino in the world into an exciting fully integrated destination resort.
Foxwoods opened on February 15, 1992, and just in time for Foxwoods’ 30th anniversary, Jason has added, among many other things, an Outlet Mall, a Draft Kings Sportsbook, Ziplining, a Top Golf, and a Great Wolf indoor water park. For each month of 2022, Foxwoods is announcing new restaurants and new features such as a 75,000-square-foot event center and a high-stakes bingo hall. Jason is overseeing a series of renovations to four of the six Foxwoods casinos.
From HR to Ops to the Top
Jason started at Foxwoods in 2003, after graduating from Mitchell College. He worked his way up the ranks, through Human Resources and Hotel/Resort Operations before being appointed President and CEO.
Besides nearly doubling Foxwoods Resort Casino’s profitability and increasing team member engagement, Jason finds time to sit on several boards, including Special Olympics Connecticut, the Connecticut Restaurant Association, and the Connecticut Tourism Council representing Casino and Gaming
