Overview As Director of Finance you will report to the CFO/VP Finance with oversight of all finance and accounting functions, to include the direct oversight of Financial and Operations Controllers, Cage and Count operations, Payroll and the warehouse deptartment.
Responsibilities
  • Have a working and hands-on knowledge with Shared Service partnerships, with implementation of the Company’s brand standards and standardized practices and procedures necessary to continue be successful.
  • Maintain and develop systems to ensure accurate and timely reporting, and compliance with all regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports required by regulatory agencies.
  • Review of daily management reports and monthly financial statements.
  • Assist with timely preparation of annual budget, monthly budget meetings, and forecasts as they relate to the financial situation of the Company.
  • Assist in the direction of the business unit’s finance department in formulating and administering organizational financial policies and procedures.
  • Interpret financial reports for management team.
  • Monitor legislative and political developments affecting the business unit from a financial and compliance perspective.
  • Maintain communication with Gaming Control Board on all gaming issues.
  • Adhere to all policies stated in the team member handbook.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a senior finance role – preferably held a role as Controller, Director of Finance, or Executive Director of Finance within the gaming industry.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of accounting, finance, and audit experience
  • Exceptional knowledge of Title 31 compliance standards and Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering standards.
  • Compliance-focused.
  • Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff.
  • Gaming industry and gaming regulation experience required. Gaming card required.
  • Skilled in spreadsheet and word processing software.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Experience in financial and gaming software applications.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
Preferred:
  • Accounting, Finance or Business degree is preferred.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Nevada Gaming Regulations is preferred.
  • Experience as a 401 (k) and Group Health Benefits committee member preferred.
  • Experience overseeing the Payroll function preferred.
  • Experience working within an independent operation (not corporate finance support).
