Overview Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of HR, this position is responsible for the development, execution and measurement of internal Team Member Communication plans. Responsible for ensuring that our culture is communicated in the most effective way for our Team Members to fully understand what we are all about, and how the public sees us as a Company that focuses on our Family – The Team Members.

One area which is key to this engagement is our internal websites and other communication channels (including social media). Must have experience communicating with hourly team members within the hospitality spectrum.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and execute a communication strategy for internal Team Members.
  • Ensures all internal communications are brand compliant with brand logos, coloring and the appropriate use of the brand
  • Ensure execution and editorial review of all internal communication materials to ensure accuracy, clarity and appropriateness of specific content and vehicles for different audiences
  • Develops clear project plans, updates plans and provides regular written status updates on communication projects.
  • Research, write and edit communications materials for a variety of channels and audiences using a variety of methods: print, digital, social media, mobile, video
  • Support content creation and messaging for key internal events (brand conferences, town halls, company newsletters, company social portal and more).
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities, multitask and meet deadlines, extremely organized and has a strong sense of project management.
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency.
  • Sensitive to confidential information
  • Ability to work at all levels of our organization to include executive level and entry level.
  • Makes tough and timely decisions
  • Must have an understanding of the hospitality industry.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree, Major in Communications, or English highly preferred

  • 7+ years of communications experience with reputable company that serves Team Members from entry level to senior executive
  • Demonstrated experience developing communications plans, managing corporate communications efforts and strategies for company-wide initiatives
  • Experience with multiple company functions
  • Must have experience in the hospitality or casino industry.
  • Demonstrated experience using a wide array of communicate vehicles.
  • Strong project management experience required.
