Overview | The Director of Technical Accounting provides leadership and technical guidance of accounting policy development and financial reporting with in assigned functional area(s). The individual in this role is responsible for all oral and written communication with senior leadership, external auditors, and staff for technical accounting, accounting policy, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) policy related matters. As the subject matter expert on all technical accounting topics, the Director is responsible for research, documentation, and implementation of FASB pronouncements, GAAP, Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), Emerging Issues Task Force (EITF), and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) developments that impact Company at both the parent and divisional segment levels. |
