Overview The team member in this position is responsible for providing superior service. The Corporate Technical Support Manager is responsible for planning, designing, implementing and maintaining complex corporate information systems. This position provides technical support for all IOC casinos and corporate office. Primary responsibilities include support and design of all WAN, LAN, and IBM AS/400 network related projects.
Responsibilities The following statements are intended as general examples of the duties of this position and are not all-inclusive for specific positions. Other reasonable duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for effective management of Corporate Information System projects.
  • Responsible for effective development, configuration, implementation and support of AS/400 application, WAN and LAN software and hardware.
  • Responsible for effective operation, support, and maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange servers as well as other Microsoft based server and workstation software.
  • Contracts with management specialists, technical personnel, or vendors for services, support and problem resolution.
  • Assists in the formation of AS/400 Client Server methodologies, communications, connectivity and conventions.
  • Recommends, develops and implements hardware and software solutions for company business needs.
  • Provides for and implements security methods and procedures to include user authorization, patch management, systems backup and disaster recovery.
  • Responsible for management of the Virtual Machine (VM) infrastructure to include Storage Are Node (SAN).
Qualifications
  • Technical abilities demonstrated:
    1. Management Information Systems
    2. Hardware and Software proficiency
    3. Technical knowledge of WAN/LAN
  • Willingness to assume additional managerial responsibilities.
  • Creativeness and Initiative demonstrated.
  • Successful completion of MIS projects.
  • Successful utilization of technology to reduce cost, improve business reporting and increase revenue.
  • Ability to obtain gaming license in ERI locations as necessary.

Required:

  1. Requires a four-year degree in Management Information Systems.
  2. Requires at least five years of Progressive Management Information Systems experience.
