Overview

Responsible for leveraging all available data extracting techniques and systems to drive incremental business growth through measurable improvements in slot and table game flow optimization.  Provide strategic support to Slot management and Property Executive Management with directives, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities    Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for providing data to assist in the selection and placement of slot machines and other peripheral equipment
  • Monitors slot revenues, operational costs and other pertinent data via a slot tracking system and or other relevant systems
  • Investigates + – 3 % variance in coordination with Revenue Audit and Tribal Gaming
  • Ensures compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act

   Specific Job Functions

  • Report directly to the Slot Director, meet regularly to understand and document existing business practices
  • Review and understand a variety of supplied data formats
  • Able to create numerous tables and queries with various software applications SQL, VBA, SPSS, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Perform a variety of detailed analysis, data extraction and manipulation as well as reporting
  • Translate data into observations and actionable recommendations that will improve current business practices, create a better understanding of customer behavior and improve customer profitability
  • Recommend improved segmentation and test design for direct marketing campaigns
  • Maintain and correct any data discrepancies in master game file
  • CAD knowledge
  • Bally ACSC knowledge a plus
  • Build predictive statistical models
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all data
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and abilities required.

Knowledge of all types of slot machines, slot computerization, slots tracking/auditing systems, and current marketing concepts. Strong analytical ability, especially with slot computing and financial reporting methods must be maintained. Team leader and innovator relating to marketing concepts. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information. Must be competent with varies PC based software programs. Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff. Must possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics. Must possess a high regard for customer service and employee relations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma and Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. / B.S.) from four year college or university.
  • Degree qualifications may be met over time with approval of General Manager.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in slot and/or video lottery terminal operations and minimum 5 years management experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to perform in fast-paced and goal-oriented environment.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Driver’s license and ability to obtain NIGC gaming license.
