Katherine is senior vice president of human resources for Golden Entertainment, Inc., with over 25 years of Human Resources experience in the Hospitality and Gaming industry.
She relocated to Las Vegas in 2015 following the merger of Lakes Entertainment, Inc. with Golden Gaming, Inc. In her current role, she provides strategic HR leadership to Golden Entertainment’s tavern, route, and casino operations, which employs over 6,000 team members. Katherine has held various progressive leadership and executive roles in native and traditional gaming— focusing on Human Resource leadership and Organizational Development.
Originally from Massachusetts, Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Massachusetts and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Lewis University. She is the author of the award-winning book, “Hospitality From the HEART: Engage Your Employees, Deliver Extraordinary Service, and Create Loyal Guests”— currently in its 4th printing.
Katherine and her husband enjoy spending time at home in Las Vegas and Minnesota. She is an active member of the vibrant philanthropic community of Las Vegas and enjoys hiking, travel, and the arts.
