Conrad Granito, Jr., as General Manager of the Nisqually Red Wind Casino, has led the property to its leading status in the Washington and Greater Olympia gaming market and established it as the go-to spot for gaming, dining, and fun.
He started his gaming career with the Sycuan Band of Mission Indians in the San Diego, California, area. He developed and assisted the growth of the gaming operation from a bingo hall to a casino leader. An Indian gaming veteran with over 30 years of experience and dedication to supporting, assisting, and developing strong economic development, Granito has made a name for himself.
As General Manager of the Muckleshoot Casino located in Auburn, WA, he provided vision and leadership to take “the biggest and best in the Northwest” to the next level of sustainability and profitability. He led and directed the renovation and expansion of the property, which included a 400-room, 18-story hotel with over 27 suites, a spa, and a rooftop restaurant; a 2,500-seat event center; additional gaming space adding 500 positions; creation of the Asian gaming “Dragon Room”; as well as a refresh of the property and F&B offerings.
As the General Manager of the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, LA, Conrad was the driving force behind the addition of 400 rooms to the property and major remodels and renovations.
He served as the Tamaya Enterprise Inc.’s Board’s (TEI) General Manager of the Santa Ana Star Casino in Bernalillo, NM. He assisted the Santa Ana Pueblo in refinancing outstanding debt twice. He returned profitability to the gaming operation, which enabled the Tribe and its business entities to provide needed Tribal services.
Conrad has also worked directly as the General Manager for the Southern Ute Tribe and the Pueblo of Isleta. While at Isleta, he assisted in negotiating the initial and subsequent gaming compacts for the New Mexico Tribes and the State of New Mexico.
We proudly add Conrad to the Bentley Price Associates’ “Best of The Best” list.
