Diane McMahan is a seasoned Human Resources executive with more than 30 years of strategic and operational leadership experience across the healthcare, not-for-profit, hospitality, and gaming industries.
She is currently the Vice President of Human Resources for Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her diverse career also includes leadership roles with notable organizations such as Southcentral Foundation in Anchorage, Alaska, a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient; Penn Entertainment, where she supported operations at Ameristar Black Hawk and Margaritaville Resort Casino; and the historic Belleview Biltmore Resort in Clearwater, Florida.
Those experiences have helped shape her practical, people-first approach to HR and leadership. She’s a big believer in leading with empathy and often uses “Seek to Understand” and “Assume Positive Intent” as guiding principles in how she works with others.
Diane holds a Master of Arts in international studies from Florida State University and maintains her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification. She is also a certified Hogan coach, leveraging data-driven insights to develop leaders and teams.
When she’s not at work, Diane loves to travel and explore the nation’s national parks, always looking for new places to experience and enjoy.
