Patrick Miller is the Senior Vice President of Hospitality at MGM Resorts International—focused on the MGM Grand, New York-New York, and Signature properties in Las Vegas. Patrick is responsible for those properties’ Hotel, Food and Beverage, and Retail divisions.

MGM Resorts InternationalPatrick began his career with MGM Resorts International more than 25 years ago.  After graduating from The University of Notre Dame, where he studied Marketing and Spanish, his first job was as a Pit Clerk at The Mirage.  During this time, he realized he wanted to be part of the exciting world of gaming, entertainment, and hospitality for a lifelong career.

During his initial years at The Mirage, he experienced many aspects of the business.  He served in a number of roles throughout the casino, expanding his skill set. He participated in the company’s renowned Management Associate Program, learning about the corporate world and broadening his expertise. After stints in National Marketing and Slot Marketing, Patrick was promoted to Vice President of Slots.  He leveraged that experience into roles at several of the company’s properties, serving first as Vice President of Casino Operations at Monte Carlo and then as Vice President of Marketing at the Mandalay Bay complex.  In the latter role, Patrick was responsible for the overall marketing strategy of Mandalay Bay and Delano, including National and Slot Marketing, branding, advertising, and events.

Recognizing his leadership skills and industry expertise, the company selected Patrick to lead Monte Carlo as its General Manager and, ultimately, the President and COO of the property. He was responsible for all aspects and divisions of the property and its future development. During his tenure at the resort, he oversaw the $750 million transformation of Monte Carlo into Park MGM, an entirely new brand and resort experience developed over three years.  The concept reimagined every outlet and public space and launched a new employee culture and guest service approach that is seen as a best practice for the portfolio of MGM Resorts.

In April 2020, MGM Resorts restructured its operating model, and Patrick shifted his role to the multi-property position he currently holds.

Patrick is a native of Las Vegas, a proud father of four children, and husband of 24 years to his wife, Jennifer. He enjoys cycling and competes throughout the year. He is an active community member serving as a board of trustee at Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, Mountain View Hospital, Bishop Gorman High School, and Cristo Rey High School.
