Last weekend, the gaming industry lost one of its most respected leaders.
Brian Parrish was more than an accomplished executive—he was a visionary whose leadership helped shape the growth and success of tribal gaming organizations across North America. Throughout a distinguished career spanning more than 30 years, Brian earned a reputation for integrity, excellence, and an unwavering commitment to the people and communities he served.
In 2020, Bentley Price Associates recognized Brian as one of our “Best of the Best“ leaders, an honor reserved for professionals whose character, leadership, and industry contributions distinguish them among their peers. Brian embodied those qualities every day.
Whether leading major gaming enterprises, guiding expansion projects, developing future leaders, or creating opportunities for tribal communities, Brian’s impact extended far beyond the properties he managed. He believed in people, invested in teams, and led with humility, respect, and purpose.
Brian was admired not only for his operational expertise and strategic vision but also for the kindness, professionalism, and genuine care he showed to everyone around him. He was a trusted colleague, mentor, friend, and true gentleman.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Brian Parrish’s passing.
I had the pleasure of working with Brian on the executive team at Quechan Tribal Casino Properties, where I saw firsthand what an exceptional leader he was. He led with integrity, professionalism, and a genuine care for the people around him.
Over the years, Brian became more than a colleague. He became a lifelong friend. I always looked forward to seeing him at gaming conventions, where we could catch up both professionally and personally.
My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, colleagues, and everyone whose life he touched. Brian will be greatly missed, but his impact and legacy will continue on.
Brian Parrish was a friend and colleague. I worked with Brian at the Venetian when he was brought in after our opening. Brian was a great guy and always upbeat and a pleasure to work with. When I came to the Ute Mountain Casino Hotel Brian was running the Gaming Operation for our biggest Competitor Navajo Nation. Brain will definitely be missed. May he Rest In Peace with God’s Grace.
I had a chance to work with B. Parrish at the Quechan Casino resort not only the things that is published about him is true but overall outside of work to continue to empower us all with his knowledge, generosity, kindness. Not only a True Boss to work for but also to be called a mentor and friend.
Brian was a leader that made everyone of us believe there was always more to us than we knew. He would time and time expect your best. When he was here at the Inn of the Mountain Gods, he created a family atmosphere. Communication was a central part of his expectations.
