Yaamava Resort

Christopher Fava is Vice President of Food and Beverage for Yaamava Resort and Casino at San Manuel. In this role, he’s responsible for 14 full-service/QSR outlets, 16 public bars, plus 10 casino service bars, 5 High-Limit Gaming rooms, a 2,500-seat theater, catering operations, and more than 1,600 employees.

Fava brings over 20 years of experience in the gaming, resort, and restaurant industries. Prior to Yaamava, he was the Vice President of Hospitality and Strategy for Levy Restaurants at LEGOLAND New York Resort where he oversaw architectural design, concept & menu development, new technology, contracts, purchasing, culinary operations, human resources, and more.

Chris was CEO at The Culinary Academy of Las Vegas, working closely with 32 strip property casinos.

Fava was also the Chief Executive Officer at The Culinary Academy of Las Vegas (NV) where he oversaw the development and training of 14 unique food and beverage curriculums, providing training and job opportunities to hundreds of individuals while working closely with 32 strip property casinos in Las Vegas.  

Chris is the proud father of two exceptional children, his son, Nikolas Fava, a recent UNLV hospitality graduate who was recently awarded a Master’s scholarship in Gaming from the Las Vegas Business Academy and is currently a Casino Marketing Manager and Host for Ellis Island as well as his daughter, Taylor Fava, a recent graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor degree in Business Law.  She is currently preparing for her LSAT as she endeavors her law degree from Trinity Law School in California.

In his free time, Fava enjoys spending time with his children, his fiancée Cristina, traveling, enjoying the outdoors, running half-marathons, culinary journeys, his blue nose pitbull, Kobe, and his 18-month-old grandson, Luke.
