David Carroll is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Seminole Hard Rock Support Services.
David is responsible for all global human capital endeavors, including operations in 74 countries, including 185 cafes, 25 hotels, 12 casinos, and more than 45,000 team members.
As a teen, David started his career bagging groceries at Publix in North Miami, Florida, where he was born and raised. In 1983, while working as a ramp agent at Miami International Airport for Continental Airlines, he could have missed his career path had he not seen an internal company job posting for a Recruitment Specialist position at the corporate headquarters in Los Angeles.

David spent 12 years in the airline industry hiring thousands of pilots and flight attendants first with Continental Airlines and then Southwest Airlines.
In 1993, David transitioned from the travel industry to the gaming industry, where he started with Promus Companies, which would eventually become Harrah’s Entertainment. He then moved to Horseshoe Gaming after accepting a role as the company’s Senior Vice President. David has held top HR positions for other top gaming companies, including Harrah’s Entertainment and Wynn Las Vegas.
David joined Seminole Gaming in 2011. As the organization began to experience explosive growth, he relied on a culmination of all his experiences to lead the charge, from a Human Resources perspective at Seminole Hard Rock,
David utilizes his sense of humor to build positive business relationships and diffuse difficult situations. Delicately balancing what he learned through his experiences and adding his own flair to the leadership role, David has crafted his own recipe for success that follows him no matter where he lands.
